The North Tahoe Public Utility District Recreation and Parks Department is a department of the North Tahoe Public Utility District. It originated in 1968 through Board action. Over the past three decades, the Parks Department has evolved into its current stewardships, including District, County, State, and Federal properties that are displayed on these pages.
The North Tahoe Public Utility District Recreation and Parks Department offers extensive recreational opportunities. Facilities have been made possible through acquisition contracts, grants, property exchanges, and an exceptionally supportive community.

The Board of Directors is committed to providing an opportunity for residents to give input on projects, funding priorities, and other items related to Parks. All residents are encouraged to fill out our survey, available in both English and Spanish, and return them to the District.
